The  Harris Communications Group of Cambridge, MA is an award-winning consulting firm  specializing in strategic communication and thought leadership services for companies and organizations in health, science and technology fields. 

HarrisCom was founded in 1998 by Anita M. Harris,  a national journalist and author who has  taught communications at Harvard and Yale Universities and served as interim public affairs director for the Harvard School of Public Health.

Anita has reported for the MacNeil/Lehrer Report (now The NewsHour) of national public television and Newsday, written a regular column for MSN, served as a commentator for national public radio and  been a featured guest  on Talk of the Nation and the Group. She  is the author of Broken Patterns, a nonfiction book concerned with the societal and generational impact of technological change.

Anita has won numerous journalistic and public relations awards–most recently, four prestigious Publicity Club of New England Bell Ringer Awards and four International Communicator Awards– for her client work.

Anita also writes the  New Cambridge Observer, a blog on art, science, technology and politics in and around Cambridge, MA, where she resides.
